Director of Croatia Airlines visited Sarajevo International Airport

    Today, Croatia Airlines’ director, Mr. Krešimir Kučko, visited Sarajevo International Airport where he met its director, Mr. Ivan Veličan.
    They discussed possibilities of further improvement of business co-operation and development of air traffic operations at Sarajevo Airport. The director of Croatian national carrier on this occasion announced that Croatia Airlines will again have, starting from summer timetable (to become effective on 31 March 2013), 13 weekly flights on air service Sarajevo – Zagreb. It was also discussed a possibility of connecting Sarajevo International Airport (apart from Zagreb) to other European destinations served by Croatia Airlines.
    It is worth noting that Croatian carrier's fleet during the current year's winter timetable (being effective till 30 March 2012) directly have been connecting Sarajevo and Zagreb seven days a week. Passengers are offered 11 flights a week – on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday there are two flights (morning and afternoon), while on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday there are afternoon flights only.
    Mr. Ivan Veličan expressed his satisfaction over the past business co-operation, especially because of the fact that Croatia Airlines is one of top ranked carriers according to number of operations at Sarajevo Airport. He pointed out to the fact that Croatia Airlines' aircraft was the first one to land at the rehabilitated Sarajevo Airport in 1996, when the airport was officially re-opened for scheduled air traffic. Since then passengers from Bosnia and Herzegovina have constantly been offered direct flights Sarajevo – Zagreb, as well as convenient options of connections to other European and international destination.
    Expressing appreciation over the visit director of Croatia Airlines supported efforts of the Sarajevo Airport Management to improve the business, as well as a hope of continuing sucessful co-operation.
